Our Scattering Services

Cambridge Scatterings provides affordable cremated remains scattering services for your family member, loved one, friend or pet in memorable locations around the world in accordance with state and local ordinances. Our services involve cremated remains scatterings by airplanes, boat, cruise ship, catamaran, surfboard or by hand.

Once we have been notified of a scattering request, we will make arrangements to collect the cremated remains from the family or funeral home either by personal pickup or certified U.S. mail. At this time, we'll collect the VS9 Burial Permit authorizing the scattering location, a copy of our own Scattering Authorization form and payment.

The ashes are then scheduled for scattering, and upon completion of the dispersal service, we'll take care of the required county filings and you’ll receive a special commemorative certificate and a photo of the scattering location.

We are please to offer special fly over services on the date and time of your choosing (weather permitting) in order to facilitate viewing of the scattering, special dates and memorial services. Scattering the ashes of a loved one by air is a beautiful sight to behold. When you pre-order an artistic DVD or high definition Blu-ray video of your scattering service , you can view the location and watch the actual scattering from the comfort of your home. Package includes professional videography, a DVD or Bluray of the service and a photo print of the scattering location.
